Yes! You can buy multiple train gifts at once by following these steps:

You can choose to send a train gift certificate via three delivery methods:

1. eGift: send a digital Traingift directly to the recipient’s inbox. The recipient will receive an email with their Traingift as a fun animation.
2. Printable PDF: receive a printable PDF in YOUR inbox so that you can print it out and hand over in person.
3. Luxury gift card: You also have the option to send a luxury gift card for trains by post, either directly to the recipient or to yourself to hand it over at a later date. We post orders daily with priority delivery.

Shipping costs depend on the delivery currency and the number of physical gifts in your order. You can find the full overview in the table below. The shipping cost is calculated per order, based on the total number of physical gifts you purchase. Digital and PDF gifts are delivered instantly by email and do not require shipping.

All physical gift cards are delivered with our super-timely priority delivery, available worldwide. Gifts ordered before 2.00pm on business days and before 12.00pm on Saturday. Please see the table below for the delivery times per country.

We do not currently have any loyalty or reward programs but stay tuned! When you buy one of our vouchers for train journeys, you may be able to receive some nice perks in the near future.

We do not currently have a mobile app for booking trains with our train gift vouchers, but our amazing website is fully functioning and optimised for mobile, so you can easily buy and redeem our train gifts.

You can jazz up your train voucher with one of our fun stock images or upload your own photo to add an extra sentimental touch. You can find stock images to suit every occasion, from romantic pics to special thank you images on our Give page.

You can redeem your train gift certificate via our Redeem page. Simply enter your unique Traingift value code at checkout to complete the booking.

You should receive a booking confirmation email for your train journey within 5 minutes after purchase. Please check the spam folder if it doesn’t appear in your primary inbox. If you still can’t see it, please reach out to our friendly customer service team.

If you want to cancel or change your reservation, please contact us with your booking details.

Note that an admin fee might apply for cancellation and change requests. This varies depending on the rail provider’s policy. If the train company cancels your train, please contact our customer service.

Please note that any refund procedure can take up to 30 days from the day of cancellation. All refunds are returned to the gift card used to make the booking.

You can check the balance of your Traingift in three different ways:

• Checking the amount written on your Traingift (if you haven’t used it before)
• Contacting our customer service team and providing them with your unique voucher code
• Following the booking process on the Traingift redeem page and entering your unique train voucher code to view your remaining balance

No, it’s not possible to book a train journey via our website without one of our train gifts as you need to enter the unique code on your Traingift to finalise the booking.

If you have some money remaining on your Traingift, you can use it towards another train journey.

If the booking is more expensive than the value of your Traingift, you can pay any additional cost at the checkout using your chosen payment method.

There’s no need to activate your Traingift! Just browse the journeys on our Redeem page and book your train by entering your unique voucher code.

Upon completing the booking process, you will see a confirmation page with your booking details. You will also receive a confirmation email to the email address provided.

Your Traingift could be deactivated because all gift card codes have a 24-hour hold period after purchase before the code can be used.

Please contact our customer service if you need any help with activating your train voucher.

Sorry, our Traingift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

If you need to change any part of your booking, you can either:

• Reach out to the train company directly by contacting their customer service
• or contact Traingift’s customer service team who will be more than happy to help you.

It’s not possible to add additional funds to your Traingift. But, you can use it to book a train that’s more expensive than the gift card’s value by covering the additional cost with the payment method of your choice.

If you’ve lost your train gift voucher, contact us immediately with your name, email address, and the original purchase receipt. Provided the Traingift has not already been redeemed, we will deactivate the lost gift card and issue you a new one.

If your selected train costs more than the credit available on your gift card, you can pay the additional amount at the checkout with your preferred payment method.

The earliest travel date you can choose is five days from today. For example, if you’re booking on a Monday, the first available travel date is Saturday. This gives us time to arrange your tickets with the train operator and make sure they reach you before you travel. If you already have a date in mind, we recommend booking as soon as you can so you have the best choice of departures.

As soon as you have selected and booked a journey in the Rail Planner app, you can add it to your Pass. When you travel, you must then have a Mobile Pass ready in the app to show it at the ticket inspection. To do this, go to “My Pass” and then to “Show ticket”.

The Interrail Pass is valid from the first day of validity that you select when activating the Pass. This day is decisive, as the pass is active from this date and can no longer be changed.

For Flexi Passes (e.g. 5 days within a month), you decide on which days you want to use the rail pass, but the first day of travel must be within the validity period specified in the pass.

For passes with continuous validity (e.g. 1 month consecutive), the pass is valid from the first day of validity until the end of the validity period.

The Interrail One Country Pass is for travelling within a single European country and does not cover international travel. However, if you want to travel from your country of residence to the country covered by your One Country Pass, there are no special travel rules as with the Global Pass (which allows a return journey to your home country).

This means that with a One Country Pass you can only travel within the selected country and will need a separate ticket for your arrival and departure if you are travelling from or returning to another country.

Interrail offers a youth discount of up to 25% for all travellers under the age of 28. This means that you can benefit from a discounted price on Interrail Passes until your 28th birthday. You don’t need to provide proof of your student status, just your age.

Yes, it is possible to cancel an Interrail ticket, but this depends on certain conditions, such as the type of ticket and the respective return policy. For almost all tickets you will receive a full refund within the first 7 days, after that it depends on the type of ticket and its regulations. Depending on the train provider, the costs for a seat reservation can vary. When booking via Interrail there is a fee of €2.00 per passenger per train.

Anyone living outside of Switzerland and Liechtenstein can purchase a Swiss Travel Pass.
